The Juniper EX6200 Ethernet Switch is a 14U, 10 slot chassis that reserves two slots for holding redundant Switch Fabric and Routing Engine (SRE) modules and has eight slots dedicated for 48 port 10/100/1000BASE-T line cards. One redundant SRE can be replaced by an additional line card for higher port densities.
The Juniper EX6200 Ethernet switch is a scalable, resilient, high-performance wiring closet solution for campus deployments or end-of-row access in the data center. it has two line cards available, one with and one without support for IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) and 802.3at PoE+.
The Juniper EX6200 Ethernet Switch has a carrier-class architecture, coupled with the Junos OS, enables the Juniper E6200 switch to provide carrier-class reliability for every application. Wire-speed performance at high 1GbE, 10GbE, 40GbE and 100GbE port densities dramatically simplifies network topologies and operations.
