The Hitachi AMS 200 Adaptable Modular Storage Array uses Enhanced SATA data protection for unmatched data availability and resiliency. Move from inflexible and expensive, server-internal storage to cost-effective, scalable external storage, consolidate multiple storage systems into one, or build a first storage area network (SAN). Scale from 1TB of Serial ATA (SATA) storage up to 200TB to keep up with data growth. It also uses RAID-6 for high availability and rapid RAID group rebuild times in the rare event of a disk drive problem. The Hitachi AMS 200 Adaptable Modular Storage Array also uses Hi-Track “call-home” service/remote maintenance tool for 24/7 diagnostics to keep potential issues from becoming problems. It uses fully redundant and hot-swappable components to keep applications online all the time, even in a hardware failure. The Hitachi AMS 200 Adaptable Modular Storage Array can also utilize within-system volume replication or incremental copies for frequent backups. This ensures your data is always safe.
